Firmware Updates for the OfficeConnect® Dual 56K LAN Modem (3C888) Upgrade Wizard, Macintosh OS--Release 8.0.1 (requires Stuffit expander v5.x or later), This update fixes a bug for service providers that employ the Double Authentication (PPP/LCP) protocol during connection. If you can currently connect to your service provider without difficulty, you do not need this update. If you have been having trouble connecting to your ISP, contact your ISP and determine if they deploy Double Authentication (PPP/LCP). If so, it is recommended that you install this upgrade. There are no enhancements or features added in this firmware release.
