This is the one and only driver for the card. For installation in Windows 98, a major hurdle is jumped through first. You must have loaded and installed Windows 95 - with this driver up and running - prior to Windows 98 installation as Win98 prohibits installation of this driver. If the driver is present during 98 upgrade/installation, the driver is carried over and works great. Similar functioning can be had moving up to ME; however, glitches may develop (which is why I don't categorically state it to be a ME OS usable driver).
In addtition, all diagnostics are included in this file. This driver was originally designed for the DOS network environment.
To install - select the IBMLANMAN.DOS folder as the primary look for folder when installing via 'add hardware'dialogue.
Finally, the drivers were originally distributed via 2 3.25 floppy disks. A blank floppy will be required during installation for the diagnostic program to be copied to by the installation process.
